instead of a general roster size increase, how about a 5-man taxi squad; they are signed at the minimum salary for this season only to be injury fill-ins; they cannot be traded or released, and they all become free agents after the season.... this removes any picks for future speculation; they are used to fill current season needs for injuries.... this also greatly simplifies Mark's administrative burden....
Well the NFL has rosters that continually fluctuate. In this league, we have tied it down. Growing rosters and setting a 25 game day roster can be an option. I will say that stronger teams will be against this. So I am game for a change.
The heading of this thread is, Increase in Injuries. The reason for increasing roster is to insure in game play, not prospecting for more players. If it’s more prospecting for players desired, that would be a different rule/thread.
