2019 KRFL VOTE

Voting on ALL proposed rule changes is mandatory.  Failure to vote will result in a $1.0 million penalty applied to your Free Agent Draft Salary Cap. 
Your ballot will be submitted to the League by Saturday April 13. The Commissioner, confirmed by the Assistant Commissioner, will tabulate and report the results.

Proposal One: Increase Roster Size from 52 to 53.
Change rule 4.1 to be: Each team consists of a 53-man active roster and a rookie squad.

Proposal Two: Free Agents Signed During Period One Week before Season Begins can be Retained.
Proposed Change: 8.3 - All Waiver Claim Players made during the free agent signing period one week before the season begins can be retained at the end of the season and will be treated like a player drafted in the free agent draft. All free agent players signed during the season will become free agents at the end of that KRFL season.

Proposal Three: Increase the salary cap.
Increase the salary cap by $5 million to $88 million. In season becomes 93 million.

Proposal Four: Changes Free Agent Draft Salaries.
Proposed Change: 14.1: A player's initial salary is determined by the manner in which the player was acquired. Players acquired through the Free Agent draft are assigned an option year salary as follows. This salary will decrease with each pick in every round. Using the current rules round starting salary. Proposal Five: Change Draft Order.
Free Agent Draft:
The four teams with the best record who did not make the playoffs would participate in the Draft Lottery for the first four picks.
The 5th pick is the team the 5th best record who did not make the playoffs.
The 6th pick is the team with the 6th best record who did not make the playoffs.
And so on.
The team with the worst record gets the 16th pick.

Rookie Draft:
The four teams with the worst record would continue to participate in the Draft Lottery for the first four picks. The 5th pick is the team the best record who did not make the playoffs.
The 6th pick is the team with the 2nd best record who did not make the playoffs.
The 7th pick is the team with the 3rd best record who did not make the playoffs.
And so on.
Draft Picks of the teams who make the playoffs remain unchanged.
