I've gotten started setting up the preliminary 2023 league file (since your's truly is not a playoff team this season). Looking at our home fields, we have some oddities.

Not picking on Cliff here, but the NY Hitmen playing home games in St. Louis in a stadium that was renamed in 2016 and has not had a college or NFL team in it since (though the XFL Battlehawks play there now) is kind of strange to me. Moline is playing in the Arizona Stadium in Tucson, W. Seattle plays in Denver as other examples.

Should we:
1) Do nothing and leave things as is
2) Require teams to play in a current NFL or College football stadium
3) Allow KRFL teams to "create their own" home field with its own weather factors. Or no weather by playing in a dome. The home field advantage has no impact since we use a league wide setting of +3 for the home team.

I actually kind of like #3 since for the most part we use fictitious team names anyway. And I do not strongly support #2, but would be OK with it.

What do you think?

Since I go back a long way in this league.... when it started we used the actual home field advantage of the stadium we played in; for example I chose the Georgia Dome which had no weather effects, but a HFA of 4....

instead of adding a bunch of new stadiums to the file; I would suggest everyone choose an existing stadium; but be allowed to adjust the weather factors.... that should satisfy proponents of both #2 and #3
