We've all been there, when bad breaks or lucky opponents yield absurd numbers. A couple weeks ago I didn't break 100 yds passing until the fourth quarter so I looked up the fewest passing yards by a team in an NFL game. Shockingly, the answer is -7 by the Tennessee Titans. Before you start whinin' about bad luck or the lack of realism in the game, consider these stats:
Most Penalties in a game Oakland Raiders 23 Most Passing Yards in a game LA Rams 554 Fewest Rushing Yards in a game Detroit Lions -53 Most Rushing Yards in a Game NY Giants 423 Most Turnovers in a Game Three Teams 12
Btw Garoppolo threw for 536 yds last week, second only to Norm Van Brocklin (554 yds as Steve mentioned back in 1951). In the NFL second tied are Matt Schaub and Warren Moon with 527 yds.
